Lots has happened since I last posted - but here is my most memorable story since I started my new job as a children's type worker at a church.

It happened one Sunday, I was preaching about the parable of the seeds being sown. As I finished feeling quite relieved it was over something happened...

I started to detach myself from the radio mike and instead of walking down the steps of the pulpit carefully I went flying over the back of it.

Thankfully I missed the radiator and even though my mike was still open I didn't say anything that would get me into trouble, just a bit of a "hmph" noise was heard throughout the church.

Being the girl I am I picked myself up, picked up my papers and went and sat down - while a lot of people were watching me in shock! All eyes were on me and my eyes were on the ground, hoping it would swallow me up.

I sat down and then, within about 5mins started crying and had to walk out into the kitchen (eyes were quite definitely on me during that walk as well).

So, embarrassing? Yes. But what next? Who can be sure, there is always the possibility that something embarrassing might happen, after all I am Becky Hartwell.
