Now, for those of you who don't know I have been studying at college for an AS in film studies. It is a random hobby being as I am studying with a bunch of 16 year olds (I am 25 don't forget!) and as far as most of them are concerned I am also about 16. Well, all except gay George who has occassionally attended my friends youth group with his friend, I have also been there as a leader and although he seems quite dumb (& oh, so camp - I swear there were no gay boys when I was his age partly due to going to an all girls school, times have changed) I reckon he knows!
Anyway, all was going well in class, none of my issues with fanying boys around the age of 18 (I have a problem with the baby face look) had arisen, a problem I am getting over when...at the start of this half term we had a new boy start. He is, I believe, quite young and a little bit attractive and so the fact that I am old enough to be his auntie is very scary. Thankfully I am wise enough to avoid this young man, however my friend George isn't and seems to have a big crush on him!
So to that new boy in my class (James, I found out by sneaking a look at the register) I say "Thank goodness you are oblivious because if you knew the truth, well, lets not say what it might cause you to do".
If ever the phrase "old enough to know better" needed to be used, this is the time!
